Group of degrees as they are called. Degrees, history, group composition, former members, discography, studio albums, radio singles, video clips, soundtracks, awards and prizes

"Degrees" is a popular group of musicians from Stavropol who created their own group in 2008. The main genres of their work are pop music, reggae and funk. They released two albums of compositions and shot 8 videos.

Composition of the group

The group "Degrees" consists of 5 people. All members of "Degrees" are friends who are united by common interests and music. Over the years of its existence, bass guitarist Dmitry Bakhtinov and drummer Viktor Golovanov left it.

Dmitry Bakhtinov- bass guitarist of the group, ideological creator, known as Fidel. Previously he performed in the creative group "Locust". Left "Degrees" on the last day of 2013.

Victor Golovanov- drummer of the group, performed in a creative duet with Bakhtinov. He left the group in February 2013. Former member of the groups "Locust" and "City 312".

Roman Pashkov- lead singer of the group "Gradusy", was fond of playing the guitar, hosted a music program in Stavropol, author of songs and music.

Ruslan Tagiev- vocalist, has the pseudonym Dj Baks. For some time he worked as a DJ, playing RnB&Mush Up.

Anton Grebenkin- drummer, took part in jazz festivals, collaborated with Stas Piekha. Replaced Golovanov in 2013.

Arsen Beglyarov Before joining the group, he taught guitar and had joint projects with musical groups and performers.

Kirill Dzhalalov appeared in "Degrees" on the first day of 2014. Before that, he worked with Nepara and Vera Brezhneva, and was a participant in the DJ’s Friend project.

How did the group "Degrees" appear?

All members of the Degrees team are from Stavropol. Over the years of their lives, they crossed paths with each other and knew each other. When Ruslan and Roman arrived to conquer the capital, they met in the city and united. Pashkov was first part of the Ten Legs group. After its collapse, he worked as a courier, drywaller and salesman in a network of mobile phone stores. Tagiyev, before appearing in the group, was a cook.

After a ten-year separation, the guys met, Ruslan began teaching Roma how to DJ. Together they composed poems and melodies and presented them to their friends. Thanks to the joint collaboration of the guys, 18 compositions appeared. They showed them to their friends, including Dmitry Bakhtinov. He liked the songs so much that he decided to leave his project and start his own group with the guys.

The musicians created 16 compositions. They performed with them in clubs and eateries. In some cases, guys had to pay to be allowed to perform. They showed their songs to producers, but they rejected them until they met Oleg Nekrasov, who became interested in their work. The guys knew him and once invited the producer to a concert. And then success awaited them. Soon their first song was recorded and received rotation on the radio.

Group development

2008 is the year the group appeared. It owes its founding to bass guitarist Dmitry Bakhtinov, who suggested that R. Pashkov and R. Tagiyev create a creative team. The friends wrote several compositions, including “Director”, “Tramp” and other songs. The guys actively rehearsed for 1.5 months, and it was time for their first real concert. It took place on May 29, 2008, the musicians called it “Degree 100”.

Their first song "Director" appeared when the musicians were going through a difficult period in their lives; they had nowhere to live. It was written on an empty stomach, when four friends lived in cramped quarters in the kitchen.

Their hit “Director” was broadcast on popular radio stations in Russia in the fall of 2009. He quickly gained popularity. It was played on popular radio stations around the country. He quickly climbed the charts and took first place in the charts. It was the sixth most popular single downloaded throughout Russia in 2009. The hit was in first place in the Russian radio chart.

Soon the musicians shot a video for the song “Director”. He appeared on MUZ-TV and MTV, and was a participant in the Russian Ten program.

The group gains popularity

After the release of the first signal, a second one called “Who are you” immediately appeared. He did not take first place, but 11th position is also a good result after debuting in second place. After this track the song “I Never Again” appeared.

In March 2011, the group "Degrees" released their first album, "Naked". It included 11 songs, including three singles beloved by Russians. The composition “Naked,” which served as the title of the album, appeared in one breath. Roman Pashkov's girlfriend inspired his lover to write it.

The team experienced real success at a solo concert at the Olimpiysky Sports Complex, which took place on October 30, 2012. One by one, the singles “Sweeps”, “Oil”, “I always remember the main thing”, “Radio Rain” and “Dirty Glass” appeared.

The creative arsenal of “Degrees” includes 8 clips, directed by Georgy Toidze, Vladilen Razgulin, Igor Shmelev and Valentin Grosu. Their hits not only occupy high positions in the charts, but also become soundtracks for youth TV series. The group "Degrees" was awarded the "Golden Gramophone" award. She has also been repeatedly nominated for MUZ-TV awards.

The group "Degrees" ceases to exist

Roman Pashkov's solo project appeared in April 2015. Pa-Shock has nothing in common with the group "Degrees". The vocalist has released several musical compositions. Roman conducted experiments with Gennady Lagutin and Andrey Timonin from the IFEYOPA project. The Russians saw their joint video on April 15. And at the end of the month the group broke up, as the members began pursuing solo careers. The music of the group "Degrees" was loved by many. Their compositions can still be heard on the air. Fans wouldn't mind if the guys got together again.

The group "Degrees" emerged in 2008. The group members, who had previously taken part in various musical groups, were brought together by Dmitry Bakhtinov (Fidel). Roman Pashkov and Ruslan Tagiyev (DJ BAK$) wrote the songs “Director”, “7:00”, “My Time”, “Tramp”, “Radio Rain” and others. Then they were joined by the former drummer of the group “City 312” Victor Golovanov.

Roman Pashkov, Viktor Golovanov and Dmitry Bakhtinov were previously musicians of the Stavropol band Sarancha (group).

The group played their first concert under the name “Degree 100” after a month and a half of active rehearsals - on May 29, 2008.

Appearing in the fall of 2009, the song “Director” received strong rotation on the air of many radio stations: Europe Plus, Russian Radio, Fresh Radio, Hit FM, Radio Siberia and also took high places in the charts. At the end of 2009, the song took 6th place in the chart of the most downloaded digital singles in Russia. The song also reached first place in the Russian radio chart. The video clip for this composition was shown on MTV and MUZ-TV, and participated in the Russian Ten program.

The group's second single, “Who Are You,” reached number 11. On June 18, 2010, the song debuted at number 2 on the Russian digital singles chart.

The group’s single “I Never Again” debuted at number 9 on the Russian digital singles chart.

On March 3, 2011, the group’s first album, “Naked,” was released. The album includes 11 compositions, including the already hits “Director”, “Who are you”, “I will never again”.

The group "Gradusy" is five cheerful guys: vocalist and songwriter Roman Pashkov, vocalist and songwriter, DJ Ruslan Tagiyev (Dj Baks), guitarist Arsen Beglyarov, drummer, former member of the group "Locust" and "City 312" Viktor Golovanov, bass -guitarist Dmitry Bakhtinov (Fidel), who also previously played in the group “Locust”.

The group “Degrees” was formed in 2008 by Roman Pashkov, Ruslan Tagiev and Dmitry Bakhtinov. Two old friends Roman and Ruslan composed several compositions: “Director”, “7:00”, “My Time”, “Tramp”, and Dmitry appreciated the fruits of his friends’ creativity and pushed the guys to create their own boy band “degree 100”. It was also at his suggestion that his old acquaintance and fellow worker in the “Locust” project, drummer Viktor Golovanov, joined the group. The first concert “Degree 100” was played after a month and a half of active rehearsals on May 29, 2008. Somewhat later, the fifth member, guitarist Arsen Beglyarov, joined the group and the group was renamed “Degrees”.

Released in the fall of 2009, the composition “Director” receives strong rotation on the air of many radio stations in the country: Europe Plus, Fresh Radio, Russian Radio, Hit FM, and occupies high places in the charts; further developing its success, it occupies sixth position at the end of the year in the chart of the most downloaded digital singles in Russia, and reaches the first line of the Russian radio chart. The video clip for this composition participated in the Russian Ten program.

The group’s second single, “Who Are You,” debuted in June 2010 at number two on the Russian digital singles chart, and the song “I Never Again” was at number nine.

The next undisputed hit of the group “Degrees” is the composition “Naked”, the premiere of the video for which took place on February 15, 2011.

In 2010, the group “Degrees” became a nominee for the Muz-TV award in the categories “Breakthrough of the Year” and “Best Song”. “Degrees” received the Golden Gramophone music award for the song “Director”.

On March 3, 2011, the debut album of the Degrees group, “Naked,” was released. The album includes eleven compositions, including the already popular hits “Director”, “Who are you”, “I will never again”. The presentation took place at the B-2 club and attracted an impressive audience. Those who wanted to listen to the group's promising concert (the musicians performed not only compositions from the debut album, but also many new compositions that will be included in the next disc) had to crowd on a small dance floor, in the aisles and literally hang from the VIP area. But it was worth it, the guys were full of positivity and surprised the audience with extravagant outfits, new sounds of their favorite songs, and an original stage design that used white roses as decor. The audience actively sang along with the group, showing excellent knowledge of the text, which surprised the artists themselves.

This year “Degrees” celebrates its anniversary – the 10th anniversary of the group. In the mid-90s, two guys from Stavropol came to Moscow - they dreamed of concerts, albums and popular recognition. And quite reasonably: in their hometown they were stars - Roma (41) was already writing songs, and Ruslan (41) was a fairly popular DJ. In Moscow they worked in whatever way they could: builders, couriers, salesmen. And in their free time they were engaged in creativity. This is how the history of the Degrees group began in 2008. Soon they released the songs “My Time”, “Tramps” and “Director”. The latter made Pashkov and Tagiyev stars - everyone sang it.

Over these 10 years, Roma and Ruslan have not changed at all. Just like their songs, they have remained vital, soulful and light. But “Degrees” do not consider their work frivolous: “In general, we always write serious songs. Even if they don't seem like that at first glance. Just try to put any of our songs on some lyrical guitar, and it will immediately turn from cheerful to sad,” says Roman. They clarify: “These are not scenarios from our lives, but the basis comes from the depths. It’s just that if you start making things up from the beginning, no one will believe you.”

The life of “Degrees” is not complete without difficult situations. In June, for example, Roman had an accident. “I was taking a taxi to the airport - we were supposed to fly out on tour to Turkey. The driver fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a truck standing on the emergency lights.” Pashkov then escaped with a broken finger, bruises and minor abrasions, and after a few weeks he returned to work. Every month “Degrees” give an average of 10–15 concerts (and sometimes 20). “In June and July we had about 22 concerts,” Ruslan boasts.

There were, however, months of stagnation. Two years ago, for example: “For three or four months we sat completely idle, gave one concert a month and no longer knew what to do. And neither we nor the guys we worked with knew.” They say that this partly influenced their decision to leave their previous team for Yana Rudkovskaya (43). “Maybe there are people who don’t need a producer,” says Roma. “But we talked and thought we needed him.” Ruslan adds that they were chosen according to a very important criterion: “We agreed that we need a good-looking producer. And they looked at Yana for a long time. She's a really beautiful woman." And when asked how to work with it, he answers accordingly: “It works beautifully. Top. In all aspects."

The emphasis in the work of the musician-producer tandem is set as clearly as possible - Rudkovskaya is involved in business, Roman and Ruslan are involved in creativity. “Business is somehow not quite my thing. “Breaking through walls, finding loopholes, negotiating – I’m really not good at this,” Pashkov denies. – This is the work of a producer, which Yana does very well. I only see myself writing songs, performing, having ideas.” Although Rudkovskaya’s ideas, says Ruslan, are also okay. “She gushes with them.”

But he does not interfere in the creative process, he only evaluates the finished product. “In general, for us creativity is a very intimate process, and it is difficult to influence it. But together with Yana we choose what is worthy of attention and decide what to release and under what sauce.” They say that they grew up together with Rudkovskaya and under her patronage. “I would even say that wings began to grow from a different place,” Ruslan laughs. – The fact is that it’s very nice when your producer admires you. It's inspiring. She thinks we’re incredibly cool, so we want to fit in.” And it seems like one could relax with such an attitude, but no: “You can’t relax with her.”

Yana Rudkovskaya, Dima Bilan and the group “Gradusy”

Yana also approved the latest work - the song “Be Alone”, which was released today. “There were many options for the name, both “Be Alone” and “Just Be Alone,” they even wanted to call it “Aeroflot,” says Roma. – It’s generally from the series “what I see, I sing.” A kind of continuation of the track “She”. Two lyrical songs, similar in mood to each other.”

Soon “Degrees” will jump on the train again and go on another tour. And their families will be waiting for them at home. Rom has his wife Anya (they met in Stavropol, when Pashkov was only 17 years old) and son Daniil, Ruslana has wife Elena (they have been together for 19 years) and son Lev and daughter Eva.

The band's soloists wrote their hits in a drug den

The band's soloists wrote their hits in a drug den

This group burst into Russian show business just three years ago and immediately topped all sorts of ratings and charts. The song “Director” deservedly brought “Degrees” victory at the “Muz-TV Prize 2010” in the “Breakthrough of the Year” category, and at the last anniversary ceremony their debut album “Naked” was recognized as the best. However, few people know that the soloists of the group - Stavropol guys Ruslan TAGIEV and Roman PASHKOV - rose to success from the very bottom, overcoming hunger and poverty.

The guys came to conquer the capital 14 years ago. Moscow did not immediately accept ambitious southerners: in order not to die of hunger, Ruslan Tagiev became a baker, and then a DJ, and Roman Pashkov I had to master the skill of a plasterboarder at a construction site, and then work as a courier and a cell phone salesman. At first, everyone was on their own, but after some time, fate brought childhood friends together again: later this meeting gave our stage a powerful duet.

Bilateral hearing loss

Ruslan Tagiev grew up in a simple Stavropol family, where every penny counted. In addition, he had serious health problems since infancy.

Ruslanchik was very difficult for me,” sighs the artist’s mother Nadezhda Dmitrievna. “I had difficulty carrying him to term, and during childbirth the doctors decided to use a vacuum to help the baby be born. As a result, my son’s collarbone was broken and he was “awarded” with multiple bruises. Ruslan took a long time to recover.

However, Tagiyev began to rave about music and the stage in first grade. One day, just to play the piano, which only his aunt had in the family, the boy went across the city to her in a terrible snowstorm. But the most amazing thing is that until adolescence, Ruslan had no hearing - after acute otitis media, he literally became deaf.

My son went to kindergarten, and I began to notice how he listened intently to me when I read books to him. She took me to the doctor: the diagnosis was bilateral hearing loss,” recalls Tageiva’s mother. “It was very difficult to get the necessary medicines in those days. We were facing a serious operation.

I am completely deaf in one ear,” confirms Ruslan. – On the second hearing decreased by 25%. I admit, it was difficult: I could not study on an equal basis with the other children, I was a retarded child, so I rolled from D to C - only in geography and history I had decent grades. My hearing returned at the concert Alexandra Serova, just at that time he came to us in Stavropol on tour. As I remember now, he sang “Madonna” and played the saxophone. I liked it so much that I asked my grandmother to take me to a music school.

Oddly enough, Ruslan passed the audition and was enrolled in the brass department. But all these joyful events in the life of an eight-year-old boy were overshadowed by the departure of his father from the family.

My ex-husband Iskander is Azerbaijani, with all the ensuing consequences,” Nadezhda Dmitrievna smiled. “He’s not a bad person as a person, but he loves women very much.” I couldn't tolerate his cheating, so our marriage broke up. My son and I were left alone. I had to work seven days a week to survive. Ruslan was raised by his grandfather - he replaced his son's father.

After graduating from music school, Tagiyev entered a specialized school. From that moment on, the guy began his real adult life.

In order to somehow help my mother, during the summer holidays I got a job at the Kavkaz shoe factory, sewing cardboard boxes with paper clips,” recalls Ruslan. - I worked for four days, fulfilled the quota overtime and received forty rubles for it! True, I couldn’t resist and bought Depeche Mode cassettes with this money.

From the shoe machine, the future star quickly moved to the bakery conveyor. In conditions of terrible shortages - when stores had empty shelves - it was possible to get hold of milk, flour and eggs at the bakery.

“It was I who got Ruslan into the bakery,” says Tagiyev’s Stavropol friend Denis Sharykin. “We worked fun, the boss loved us and allowed us to eat as many buns as we could fit.” We ate them instead of breakfast, lunch and dinner. True, they ruined their stomachs.

“I wanted Ruslanchik to become a baker,” his mother admits. – I always said that bread is the head of everything! But the son chose a different profession - he became a DJ nicknamed Baks. Of course, I was worried that the nocturnal lifestyle and constant parties would not lead to good things, but Ruslan promised to always have a head on his shoulders. Sometimes the son, of course, behaved like a hooligan. I remember how before the New Year, he and a neighbor’s boy cut down a Christmas tree in the local botanical garden. Then all the district police officers in the city turned against the children: they were forced to pay a huge fine, and their parents were told to go to work. And grandfather forced Ruslan to plow the garden as punishment!

All night long, DJ Baks turned people on at the central Stavropol disco "Provocation", but, returning to the old nine-story panel building, he immediately descended from the starry Olympus: his stepfather, a drug addict, and his mother, exhausted, were waiting for him at home.

It’s very scary to go home and see your stepfather completely “blue,” sighs Ruslan. “I happened to hold him by the collar and force his tongue out so that he wouldn’t choke. Fortunately, his union with his mother broke up. I haven’t seen this man for many years - I think he’s been dead for a long time.

Fights and drinking

The second member of the group, vocalist Roman Pashkov, grew up in more favorable conditions: a full family in a spacious private house, a younger sister Vika. But you can’t call Roma a good boy either.

At school I was a complete slob,” Pashkov laughs. – I studied with C grades, and occasionally B grades appeared in my diary. In high school I stopped trying altogether. But I have been involved in sports since childhood. One day I went to a disco with some handball players - I liked it so much that I quit sports school and joined the ensemble to play the guitar.

At one time, Romka worked on our local television - he hosted a music program, says a close friend of the artist Svetlana Marchenko. “I even tried to study to become a radio and television director, but in the end I was expelled from the institute for absences and hooliganism.

Handball player Pashkov’s hands often itched: with or without reason. Once on the main square of Stavropol, where young people usually gathered in the evenings to skateboard and drink beer, Roman saw a dressed-up dude and, out of habit, rolled up his sleeves. By the will of fate, Tagiyev turned out to be the “victim” of the hooligan.

Fights and drinking were commonplace for me! – Pashkov admits. - There was no need for a reason for this. At that time it was just fun: to get it yourself and break someone else in the same way! Ruslan appeared on the square in a white shirt tied in a knot and in funny shoes with decent heels. He danced so funny, clicking them! I looked at him and thought: “What kind of idiot?!”

Despite Pashkov’s cool disposition, the story of his acquaintance with Tagiyev followed a different scenario: instead of hand-to-hand combat, the guys started breakdancing.

“Very soon Roma and Ruslan organized a dance group,” explains Denis Sharykin. – They even rented some kind of basement for rehearsals. But only girls went to study with them. They were the most popular boys in our area until they left for Moscow.

The first years in the capital seemed like a real hell to the guys: there was barely enough money for food, and they had to live in a real brothel - side by side with alcoholics and drug addicts.

It was such a bad apartment, where every evening there was a drunken stupor,” Pashkov confesses. – It was there that the first hits of “Degrees” were born. But I began to understand: a little more, and we won’t get out of there. I decided to take a vacation and go home. But in Stavropol I suddenly clearly understood that I had no desire to return to Moscow. It’s good that my mother quietly bought a ticket and almost pushed me back to the capital. True, we never returned to this terrible apartment.

“I was very worried about my son, and so was his girl,” Tagiyev’s mother continues. - Vika lived in the next entrance and was, it seems to me, Ruslanchik’s first love. I wanted them to be together, but the guys grew up and scattered in all directions: my son moved to Moscow, Victoria moved to Rostov. At one time, Ruslan wandered around to see her, but then he plunged headlong into work.

Tagiyev is a real Don Juan,” laughs Sharykin. “The girls went crazy about him.” I once met with one beauty - Kristina Chernyavskaya, so she ran away from me to Ruslan! I even wanted to go to Moscow for him. Now all his ex-girlfriends are biting their elbows: they missed such an enviable bachelor!
