1. Tree. The fastest way to mine is with a metal axe. It makes less noise than a homemade one and cuts much faster.

Stone

Cobblestones are scattered everywhere, so you definitely won’t have any problems mining stones. However, you can significantly speed up its production by taming Dedicurus.

Iron ore

With this material it will be somewhat more difficult. Just remember that it is useless to look for it near rivers and in forest locations, since it rarely appears in these areas. You can try to domesticate the devastator, and then climb the nearby slopes along the vines. There you will find medium iron ore reserves. But you don't need to climb to the top of the cliffs, otherwise you will die from too high levels of radiation.

The truly large deposits of this resource are located in the blue zone. You can get there by Karkinos or Spinosaurus. You should also take Lampadog with you. You can stumble upon rich iron deposits almost immediately after arriving in the desired region. We also advise you not to lose sight of the cobblestones shown in the screenshot below, since they also drop iron ore.

Chitin

To obtain it, you need to kill creatures presented in the main game and previous additions, for example, trilobites, scorpions and ants. You can get the most from karkinos, but we do not recommend attacking them without having a powerful pet with you.

Regular and black pearls

You can find simple pearls at the bottom of a local lake or stream, the location of which is shown in the pictures below.

It can also be obtained by killing trilobites living near rivers. The picture below shows a location where you can find a lot of these creatures and farm them relatively safely.

There is a small chance of trilobites dropping black pearls. In addition, domesticated otters are capable of obtaining black pearls when cutting fish and trilobites with a certain chance.

Oil

Here, too, everything is quite simple - kill trilobites and get oil from them. In general, these creatures are a source of a considerable number of useful materials, so we recommend that you visit them as often as possible.

Organic polymer

The fastest way to get this resource is from karkinos, but these creatures have considerable vitality, so you should only attack them using a powerful animal. In this case, a high-level Megalosaurus, Spinosaurus or another Karkinos will do.

Red, blue and green crystals

You can find green crystals in local forest areas. The screenshot below shows their approximate location.

Among other things, crystals of any color fall from wild mole rats, which from time to time crawl underground. In some cases, these objects come straight out of the ground after earthquakes.

White crystals

The rarest type of crystals that does not have a specific spawn location, that is, with a small probability it can fall out to you when mining blue, red or green crystals.

Obsidian

It can be found in the radioactive area. Be sure to put on an anti-radiation suit and sit on some powerful creature (Spinosaurus or Karkinos will do). There is no need to go too far from the entrance, since obsidian is found at the very beginning of the location.

Everyone wants to spend less time on harvesting resources and more on alternative, more enjoyable activities, such as exploring new territories, building any compelling structures, horseback riding, and so on. And this reasoning is feasible! You just need to imagine one simple thing: a systematic approach is important in everything.

Most players prefer to randomly peck at walls, sometimes removing them radically in all directions without exception. This is a very big mistake! There is a more simple and effective method, which is to dig mines.

This is done like this: a tunnel is dug as many blocks high as you like. From it on the sides, more tunnels are created with a gap of both blocks. The length of each tunnel is chosen to suit your taste. Thus, the player covers a large area and extracts ore from it, much more efficiently than digging up absolutely everything and in all directions without exception.

Shafts must be made at any height, i.e. create a multi-story system. The top contains only iron and coal. The most precious things are located below, not more than 10 blocks above the bedrock: these are diamonds, gold, crimson dust, lapis lazuli and so on.

Dig into lava puddles - there is a rumor that diamonds are often found there (and no matter how mysterious, judging by the experiments, this is indeed the case). If you keep caves, be sure to explore them - often expensive blocks literally stick out from the walls, and you can also find chests with such outlandish items as a saddle.

It will be much easier to collect a sufficient number of seedlings (1 stack of any type is enough), organize the territory and plant them there. Firstly, there will be excellent density. Secondly, all species will appear planted separately, and you will not need to run around the oak grove in order to find a little birch. Thirdly, everything is kept nearby, and if it is necessary very urgently, it is possible to use bone meal all the time.

It’s the same here as with trees: it will be easier when everything is nearby. In this regard, spend your leisure time collecting and planting the necessary plants, starting with wheat, the seeds of which can be obtained by air. How to get resources from buildings and inactive items

How to access new resources

To access and transport newly created resources, go to the workbench and press the R key (or another key that is responsible for the “transfer” function).

If during construction you hover your mouse over the drawing and press the Q key, you can see which resources are missing to complete the construction and mark them.
