Medicinal sage is a thermophilic shrub belonging to the Yasnotkov family. For medicinal purposes, the flowering tops of sage and its leaves, which contain healing essential oils, are used. Dusty and dirty plants should be rinsed with water from a hose or watering can before collection and allowed to dry well. How to dry sage at home

Sage is dried in dark, well-ventilated, warm, protected from moisture, or under specially equipped outdoor awnings. Cut plants are collected in bunches, tied and hung to dry with flowers down. Try to harvest most of the sage in your area if you don't want the plant to fill most of your garden during the new bloom period.
