Recipe "Nests with fish or chicken":

First of all, you need to put the potatoes to boil (pre-peel, salt the water). You need to cook until half cooked (when, when “checking” the potatoes with a knife, you feel that the potatoes are no longer raw, that is, hard and “crispy”, but not quite soft, as for mashed potatoes, for example).

The second step is preparing the fish. By preparation, I mean baking the fish, again until half cooked, so that it no longer looks raw, and it could be easily separated from the skin and remove small bones. Any red fish and even pink salmon are very well suited (it is rather dry in itself, and in this recipe it can even be used very well).

I baked for about 7 minutes at 180 * C (I salted the fish, peppered it and sprinkled with lemon juice).
As I already wrote, it is quite possible to replace fish with chicken (boiled).

Now a master class (loudly said, of course) on making nests :) That’s really what a person doesn’t guess when there is no necessary utensils :) I really don’t have it, because the apartment is rented, and I can buy a bunch of all sorts very_necessary_well_directly _without_which_no_you don’t want molds, because then all this happiness must be transported.

Something I was distracted .. You need to take some kind of vessel that is suitable in shape. I had such a plastic bowl (the spoon next to it was conceived in order to be able to roughly estimate the size). In general, before that I used a liter jar for this purpose.

Fold the foil in half. The width when folded should be with an allowance, slightly larger than the diameter of the form. When cutting, you get a rectangle, you need to cut it into 2 approximately equal parts. It turned out immediately 2 details that will serve as the basis for as many as 2 nests :)

We take one of them and press it tightly to the dishes / jar. You need to press down directly with your palms so that the foil sits tightly.

Now we will cut off 2 strips of foil approximately equal in width (no need to fold in half). The width is equal to the desired height of the future sides + approximately 1.5 cm allowance.

Now we make the sides. We take one strip and wrap it around the dishes, again press it tightly.
As you can see in the photo, I missed a little. That's what the second strip is for :)

We do the same with the second strip (respectively, we eliminate the resulting "bald spot"), press it tightly. Now you can remove the workpiece from the dishes, it turns out such garbage, in the truest sense of the word. It can be seen that the sides are moving away. But for this we made the sides 1.5 cm wider: now we bend the edges so that the foil does not hang out on the side and does not move away.

In the end it turns out like this. I must say right away that everything is holding up normally, nothing falls off and nothing falls out during the cooking process.

In fact, it's all a matter of 5 minutes, honestly (sleight of hand and no deceit)!

Well, now we continue cooking. Potatoes are probably already boiled, drain the water and put it to cool.
Take the fish out of the oven.

We clean the carrots and onions, rub the carrots on a coarse grater, finely chop the onion and fry the whole thing in butter for about 5 minutes.

The fish must be cut into small pieces. I have it, along the way, already more than half-finished.

To make an appetizer original and at the same time simple is a completely feasible task, we boldly take it on the example of fish baskets. They are prepared quickly, do not require any special expenses or culinary talents.

Recipe for nests with fish on a loaf

Perhaps the simplest and most affordable recipe for fish baskets will be a recipe using a loaf as a base.

Ingredients:

  • fish fillet (perch, pollock, pink salmon) - 600 g;
  • loaf (rounded) - 1 pc.;
  • onions - 2 pcs.;
  • hard cheese - 150 g;
  • salt, pepper - to taste;
  • milk - 400 ml;
  • mayonnaise;
  • greens - for decoration.

Cooking

We clean the fish fillet from bones, if any, and skin. Cut into small cubes. Chop the onion. Finely chop the greens and grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Mix pieces of fish with herbs, season with salt and pepper, you can pour a little lemon juice.

Cut the loaf into pieces about 2-2.5 cm. Soak each piece in milk and squeeze a little. We spread the pieces of loaf on a baking sheet, greased with vegetable oil. We crush each piece of loaf in the center in such a way that we get some kind of basket in which we will lay out our fish filling. Lubricate the baskets with the filling with mayonnaise and sprinkle with grated cheese. We bake a snack in the oven for 7-10 minutes at 180 degrees.

  • chopped red onion - 1 s. spoon;
  • mango - 1/4 tbsp.;
  • cucumber - 1/4 tbsp.;
  • small chili pepper;
  • green onions;
  • chopped parsley - 1 tbsp. spoon;
  • flying fish caviar - 1 tbsp. spoon;
  • oyster sauce - 2 teaspoons;
  • fish sauce - 1/2 teaspoon;
  • sesame oil - 1/2 teaspoon;
  • pita.

Cooking

Grind the fish with a knife and mix with chopped herbs, onion, mango, cucumber and chili pepper. In a separate bowl, combine fish sauce, sesame oil and oyster sauce, season the fish with the resulting mixture. We leave the fish with fruits, herbs and vegetables in the refrigerator until completely cooled.

Lavash is cut into squares and lightly sprinkled with water from a spray bottle. We lay out the pieces of pita bread in cupcake molds so that we get baskets, after which we set the pita bread to bake at 180 degrees until browned.

Before serving, we take the fish out of the refrigerator and arrange it in cups of pita bread. We decorate the dish with caviar and enjoy the exquisite taste with a glass of champagne.

Crispy bread baskets with fish

Bread baskets may not be the most festive dish, but this does not affect its taste in any way. Delicate fish fillet in cream, can such a combination be a losing one?

  • sandwich bread - 8 slices;
  • olive oil;
  • red onion - 1/2 pc.;
  • fish fillet - 500 g;
  • lemon - 1/2 pc.;
  • cream - 1/3 tbsp.;
  • chopped green onion - 2 tbsp. spoons.

Cooking

Cut the crusts off the bread and roll out each slice with a rolling pin. Grease cake pans with oil and place in them. bread cakes. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are browned.

While the bread baskets are baking, fry the chopped onion in a pan until soft, add the fish fillet to it and fry for 2 minutes. After the time has elapsed, pour cream, lemon juice into the pan, add salt and pepper. We put the mixture in bread baskets, sprinkle with fresh chopped herbs, and serve the appetizer hot to the table.

Diversify your holiday table will also help and - it will turn out original and tasty.
